Parish Bazaar

Thank you once more for all of your tremendous support with our recent Parish Bazaar.  The final total, with all expenses taken out, is £3,170.00.

Travelling Nativity

Every year our travelling nativity takes a journey around the parish.  Two families meet every day in December as part of our preparation to celebrate the birth of Jesus, with one family handing the nativity over to another throughout Advent.  If you would like to be a part of it, all you have to do is put your name on the poster in the church to receive the travelling nativity into your home.  It will be brought to you.  (See poster in the porch for full details)

The Parish Bazaar

Will take place this coming Saturday 26th November:

11.00 a.m.  – 2.00 p.m.—less than a week away!

To make it a success we need your support on the day  –  by helping us with the selling of the raffle tickets and donations towards the various stalls.  Various other items are sought for the stalls, including home made cakes on the day.  Any queries or questions please speak to Michelle Cronje on 07792887136.

We look forward to seeing you on the day to share together this great social and fundraising occasion.

Thank you from Fr. Malachy

Fr. Malachy writes that he would like to express his sincere thanks to all in the Parish for their many kindnesses, love and support over the last eleven years and for their generous gifts to him upon leaving the Parish.  Tuesday was a lovely experience of togetherness and thanks to all for their hard work.

Floods in Thailand

As the heaviest floods have hit Thailand, reportedly in the last fifty years, the Thai Red Cross has fully deployed all its resources to provide relief to the affected.  The floods began in the upper north towards the end of June resulting from a number of typhoons and monsoons.  It still continues to rain both in Bangkok and the central plains adding to the huge amount of flood water.  Many people have lost their homes and their livelihood and the floods are predicted to continue for a month.  Could you please help the people of Thailand?  All donations will be given to the Thai Red Cross Society.  Name of Bank:  Siam Commercial Bank Public Co., Ltd.  Name of Account:  Thai Red Cross—helps flood victims in Thailand, Account Number: 045-3-04190-6, Swift Code: SI CO THBK.  Thank you.
