Stole of Remembrance

All those who have lost a loved one during the past year are invited to place a piece of distinctive cotton material (approx. 5” x 7” / 12cm x 18cm) into the basket by the baptismal font. The pieces of cloth will be added to the Stole of Remembrance which is used in our Good Friday Liturgy and remains on the altar through Holy Saturday. You are invited to come into the silence and emptiness of the Church on Holy Saturday and pray for your loved ones, for all who grieve and for peace in our world. The basket will be available on 3rd, 4th and 5th Sundays of Lent until end of day on Sunday 29th March.
